We arrived in time for Diwali, a 5-day festival that rings in the Hindu New Year.
People were decorating their homes, shops and even vehicles for the upcoming celebration.
Complimenting the chauffeur on his “beautiful bus,” he grinned.
“I decorated it in honor of the Goddess Lakshmi. She presides over not just money, but the wealth of the heart, friendship and family,” replied the driver.
