The Marco Polo homestay’s guest book was full of entries from long-distance cyclists.

We ended up spending the afternoon reading all of the different messages. Some were funny and others gave route recommendations.

We were also warned about two Westerners who had broken the ‘golden rule’. They had bought up all of the Snickers, leaving none behind for their fellow Pamir riders…
