Tremor

We had just dug into our pizza when we felt a slight shake.

Then it became stronger…

We immediately bolted off towards the street.

Seeing us scramble away (with an unpaid bill) the kitchen staff sprinted after us.

They caught up with us in the middle of the road, where we stood watching the telephone poles sway back and forth from the earthquake’s aftershocks.
