Temple view

At the Jain pilgrimage site of Shravanabelagola, we had a panoramic view over the town and the dry, dusty Deccan Plateau.

We arrived in the midday heat and scalded our bare feet while climbing up to the temple. Sitting in the shade, we watched pilgrims come and go as we waited for the shadows to reach the hill staircase.
