Cycling the main road from Mymensingh back to Dhaka sounded as much fun as having a root canal without anesthesia.

So we decided to take the bus.

It was a ‘memorable’ (read nerve-wracking) experience. Lane dividers had no meaning. Plus, many chauffeurs either didn’t know the rules of the road or considered them ‘optional’.
