“Cycling the main road from Mymensingh back to Dhaka sounded about as enjoyable as having a root canal without anesthesia.

So, we decided to take the bus.

It was a ‘memorable’ (read: nerve-wracking) experience. Lane dividers held no meaning, and many drivers either didn’t know the rules of the road or considered them ‘optional.’
