We ordered coffee and two “breakfasts for the small appetite”: an egg, bacon, sausage, and two enormous pancakes.
Seated next to the bar, we could easily overhear the heated debates between Dave and Jim. These two regulars had plenty to say about Republicans, local politics, and even the weather.
