Stressed out

A storm cloud was building and we just managed to reach the next town in time. A feeling of relief washed over us when we were given permission to put up our tent inside the village school.

But then our luck turned. A group of kids had discovered us. They spent the next five hours screaming “Hello!” and banging on the windows to attract our attention.

We now understand why ‘Don’t knock on the window’ signs are posted at zoo enclosures. It stresses the animals (and Western cyclists) out!
